The Small Business Initiative (SBI) is a division of Spottswood Community Development Corporation, an IRS-approved non-profit agency with offices in Georgia, Louisiana, Texas and Tennessee.

Our Mission:
To help Small, Emerging and Disadvantaged Businesses succeed by providing quality Technical Assistance Services, Business Solutions and Other Initiatives.  To fulfill our mission, SBI operates multifaceted initiatives with four overarching principals:

1. Serve as a small business advocate;
2. Develop strategies to bring about economic and social transformation;
3. Deliver resources for disadvantaged business owners, businesses and communities; and
4. Equip entrepreneurs to succeed in the 21st century.
